This is a club for Children's Illustrators, that means people who illustrate for children. Professional Children's Book Illustrators, but also those who work for Editorial, Advertizing, Television and Film, Graphics/Promotional/3-D, Fine Art, are welcomed as well as students and amateur illustrators.

⇒ Your deviantART gallery must contain a sensible quantity of illustrations (at least 80% of your whole gallery), not only a couple of them. We keep the right to not accept a deviant who doesn't accept these guidelines.


All mediums are welcomed: digital, collage, mixed media, paint, pen & ink, pastel, silkscreen & fabric, watercolor, color pencil, pencil/graphite.






If you would like to be part of this club, just send a NOTE with the title Join, tell us a bit about yourself and wait patiently for an answer from us. Usually, next step is to be added to our MemberList. But as already said before, we appreciate that your deviantART gallery contains a sensible quantity of children's illustrations, not only a couple of them. We keep the right to not accept any deviant who doesn't accept these guidelines. Please do not leave request comments on the main page as we may not see them!

We are not elitists, we just want the best, and we think it's fair.

After being accepted, you will also be asked to create a banner in order to link your deviantART page or Personal Portfolio, your choice. Only one banner per person, size 350*60 pxl (we may however accept 2 banners 175*60 each). We have a special journal that keep all banners together, so our visitors can easily click and see your work. It's a nice tool for you. All members' banners will be displayed in a special journal, that can be found here.

Be creative and explicit when you create your banner then!




It would be highly appreciated that you place our icon in your signature or journal. Tell your friends about us!





Each month we'll have a monthly topic. We will upload only one illustration per month per artist, following the terms of the current theme/topic. We want our gallery to represent the best from our members. We request from you to send us only your finished pieces, no doodles, no WIP. If we think that your submission does not follow our guidelines, we keep the right to not accept it.

Your submissions will take probably a couple of days to be up on the club, maybe less, depending on the actual waiting list, and the free time of the founder/admins. So please, be patient.

To submit a deviation, you must send a Note entitled "submission - [current month] monthly topic", with the link of your own deviation.
We will always put the link of your illustration in our deviation description. We will always request that favourites will have to be given on YOUR deviation. If you want us to add a special description, then please add it with the link of your deviation in the "submission" note.

By sending us notes with links to works to submit, you agree and give us the permission to post it under this account. All the notes with submissions request will be saved as proof that certifies it.





Through deviantART galleries, you may find some new and fantastic Children's Illustrators. Then you may think it could be nice for them to be featured in our club, and you think good! All you have to do is to go to the appropriate forum thread. We will take them all in consideration, either for journal features, or for favorites.
