Do remember that, if you wanted to submit to this topic but couldn't do it, there's still time!
Send us a note with your firebird submission and we'll add it to the gallery, just not to the feature folder

OUR MAY NEW MEMBERS:

New theme will start from May 2nd (your deviation must be submitted on or after May, 2nd). This must be a brand new and finished children's illustration, NO DOODLE and NO SKETCH accepted!

Since as of April 2013, all previous topics are now open, when you send us your note with the deviation please refer to which theme you are submitting to.

that's perfectly fine! as long as it is in your own style and not a copy of the original animation there should be no problem

give it a go if you want, we have opened up for submissions all previous topics!

I don't think that matters-- I submitted something for this month's topic that is an animated movie, but did it in my own illustrative style that makes it different/unique from the film.

Maybe I'm wrong and went about it the wrong way, but as long as you're exploring it in your illustration style, I think you're allowed to pick whatever you want!

Ah, I'd love to join, sadly I have too many books to illustrate last months (and now I browse dA instead of drawing... .__. but okay, I was searching for an inspiration), so I couldn't draw anything. But i'm going to watch you and I hope I'll join you one day (month?) if you don't mind.
